What a great vacation we had! Our sailing journey along the turquoise coast was magnificent. From the very beginning when our flights were delayed and then changed, we were supported by Boating Turkey to ensure our safe and timely arrival to Bodrum for our sailing adventure. Our yacht was waiting for us in pristine condition and met all our expectations and more (air conditioning). While sailing, we were provided with text messages if there were to be any sailing conditions that we should be aware of. We felt informed and confident so that we could enjoy our sailing and touring. We appreciated the initial charting discussions which gave us insight into harbors and islands that we might otherwise have missed, and these often became our favorite sailing destinations. We realize that we saw a very little of the Turkish coast and we look forward to the day when we can sail again with Boating Turkey. Everything ran smoothly from the moment we were greeted at the airport to our last day when the crew spent their free time with us just to make sure we got away okay. Our crew were fantastic - friendly, easy-going and happy to accomodate and anticipate our needs. The food was fantastic and while it was at first strange to let the crew do everything for us, by the end of the week we were so thoroughly relaxed we found it difficult to fend for ourselves when we returned home! We spent every night in a different bay and saw some of the most amazing, blue waters we have ever seen. There is nothing quite like waking up in a beautiful little bay to dive off the boat for that first swim of the day. We even go to meet Bardem the very friendly seal who put his head in our boat and was rewarded with a pat on the head. I have been raving about our Turkish holiday to anybody who will listen and I would highly recommend Boating Turkey to anybody considering a Turkish sailing experience. We hope to return one day!
