We had a really awesome time sailing again in Turkey and will definitely be back next year!
The yacht my brother hired was very impressive – spacious, easy to sail and everything was in good working order. It was neat, very clean and the linen smelt divine! The hand-over was quick and effortless – also on return to port – all was handled very professionally. Your staff are friendly and helpful. It was a nice touch to have the mobile phone in case of emergency (which fortunately we never had to use).
Just a few small things which may further improve guests experience: -
It would have been great to have some dish sponges/ washing up cloths for washing dishes and also washing up liquid. As most of your guests come from other countries, these kind of groceries items are such a waste to purchase and not usually included in our food shop.
The pillows were quite uncomfortable – very hard. I only became use to it towards the end of the trip. ‘Softer’ feather-down type or similar would be more suitable – we had these on the yacht we hired last year from a different charter company.
Perhaps also to include swimming towels – even as an extra option to guests to pre-order/ pay for and have on the yacht on arrival.
Thank you once again for a seamless arrival and departure – and a wonderful in between. Your country is beautiful!

I have organised my 40th birthday celebrations renting a gulet for a week with Boating Turkey. The trip was a dream come true and exceeded my expectations! From beginning to end, the trip was perfect. We were welcomed by Gursel who is the representative of Boating Turkey in Gocek who was very friendly, relaxed and helpful. This was the tone for the whole trip. The boat itself was clean, in excellent condition and more importantly, the Captain Cevat, the Chef and Hasan were amazing. They really made the trip very special: helfpul, friendly, excellent... They seemed to be attentive to our needs and respond to them in a discreet way. Everyone on the trip agreed that they were great. The food was delicious and varied. I would highly recommend this kind of trip in general, it’s paradise for anyone who wants to relax and discover the southern coast of Turkey and live on board. I would also highly recommend Boating Turkey to anyone who wants to organise such a trip.

7 of us had the most superb weeks holiday on the Gullet Hasay in late June 2012. The boat had been completely renovated the previous year and was extremely comfortable. Our Captain, Typhoon, was fantastic with a good command of English and great sense of humour. Our Cook [ should be called a Chef ] named Marhoot [ sorry for spelling ] was so creative that whilst we had booked half board [ breakfast and 1 meal a day ] after 4 days we reprovisioned so that we did not have to get off the boat for meals. Memmo deserves a medal for his hard and enthusiastic work, he never allowed anyone’s glass to go dry at any time of the day or night, he decorated the dining table with fresh flowers and creative napkins for every meal all of this after cleaning and scrubbing every surface of the gullet every day. Well done to you all who made our holiday extremely memorable and we shall certainly be back next year and hope that Marhoot has not been made a captain and will still be in his spotless but tiny galley. Thank you to BoatingTurkey.net and Necmi for creating an amazing trip for our group of 33. Necmi coordinated logistics for two gulets and a 50 foot monohull and truly jumped through hoops to deliver a high quality, fuss-free once-in-a-lifetime trip.
The gulets were beautiful, the crew was endearing and accommodating and the meals were sensational. To coordinate such a large group and have not have to worry about the logistics truly shows how well-connected and seasoned Necmi is. We enthusiastically recommend that anyone considering a trip along the Turkish coast check in with Necmi first. He's the most patient, responsive and trustworthy expert. As he walked down the dock, all the captains tipped their hats to him. We too tip our hat to him.
